Varsity Girls Basketball

Coach Kevin Tringali enters his 15th season in the girls program and 11th as varsity head coach, in this time the Trailblazers have posted 13 winning seasons including a conference championship in 20-21. Prior to the girls program Coach Tringali coached 7 seasons on the boys side including 6 seasons as the head JV and varsity coach for Saugatuck in the late 90’s. In addition, throughout his high school coaching,  Coach T  also started and ran the West Michigan Lakers boys Basketball Club for 19 seasons. The Laker rosters over these years carried many of the very best players to ever come out of West Michigan of which over 100 went on to play in college and a handful professionally.

Coach T and his wife Lindsay are long time residents in the Saugatuck / Douglas area and enjoy being active members within the community and school system. Coach and his wife are the proud parents of two Trailblazers;  Ava, a current sophomore at SHS and Mirra, a 3rd grader at Douglas Elementary.
