DES PTO

The PTO provides an annual budget with funds raised by families and the community which offset state budget shortfalls. These funds pay for important items including teacher classroom supplies and training, annual teacher grants, $15 towards every student for yearly field trips, 39 iPads for our elementary students, after-school programs, 5th grade graduation, Holiday Workshop, funding for the start up for the Pre-K Outdoor Discovery Center Program. Additionally, we provide volunteers who assist teachers in providing the highest level of education, attention, and support for our students.
