Fall 2020 Device Pickup Information

  • In order to check out a Chromebook for the year (or iPad for K-2 online learners), students and their parents MUST complete the online paperwork on FinalForms, specifically the Technology Resources Acceptable Use Policy and Online Learning Contract. Students in grades 6-12 must choose YES to “Do you wish to borrow an electronic device for the 2020-21 school year?” (Please note that as of the morning of 8/26/2020, the Yes selection button is not working. We have put in a help request to FinalForms. Hopefully this will be resolved in a few hours. Please check back.)
  • Purchasing the device insurance we provide is not required, but if it is desired, it must be purchased before checking out the device. Do this on FinalForms, also on the Technology Resources AUP page and complete the purchase in FinalForms checkout.
  • Devices borrowed during the previous school year must be returned and allowed 1-2 days for inventory and processing. If you still have yours, bag and tag it and put it in the drop-off box outside the main office as soon as possible. If it arrives after Tuesday, Sept. 2, 3:00 pm, it may not be available to you on September 8. If you don’t drop it off, it will remain disabled.
  • Students must exist in our SIS PowerSchool. A new student who arrives on Sept. 8 and has not been registered will not receive a device until the registration process on FinalForms and PowerSchool is complete.

Students Attending School in Person

Students in grades 6-12 who will be attending school in person and have met the prerequisites above will receive their assigned Chromebooks and chargers on Monday, September 8, during their first hour class. Career Center students who have 3rd-5th hours at the high school should pick up their Chromebooks from Mrs. Dehn in the Media Center when they arrive.
