Saugatuck Public Schools

In SPS, we’re proud of our Peer Assistant Listener (PALs) Program, where high school student leaders are matched with middle school students and classrooms around the MS/HS building to offer support, friendship, and a listening ear.

Our incredible student mentors are making a positive difference by building trust, modeling kindness, and showing what it means to be a compassionate leader.

Whether it’s helping a classmate through a tough day or just simply being someone to talk to, our trailblazing PALs embody the spirit of caring and connecting.

If our students need someone to talk to, they can access PALs support by stopping by the main office or talking with Mrs. Tricia Schrotenboer.

Thank you to instructor Nikki Barth and Mrs. Tricia Schrotenboer for their work with our PALs!
