Saugatuck Public Schools

Safety and Wellness

At Saugatuck Public Schools, your child’s emotional, mental, and physical safety is our top priority. Guided by our Strategic Plan and the Ottawa Area ISD, we combine proven best practices with ongoing improvements to ensure every student feels safe, supported, and ready to learn.

Safety Teams & Support

  • Behavior Threat Assessment & Management Teams: Trained faculty and staff at both schools meet regularly to prevent and respond to concerns.
  • Safety & Security Committee: Meets three times a year to review and strengthen safety practices.
