Partnership for Academic Transitions to Higher Ed, or PATH, at Saugatuck Public Schools gives eligible high school students the opportunity to take college courses at Hope College while still in high school. Through this unique partnership, students can earn college credit, experience a real college classroom, and explore advanced academic interests – all while receiving support from their SPS teachers and counselors.
What is the PATH Program?
The PATH Program is a dual enrollment initiative that allows qualified juniors and seniors to enroll in select Hope College courses. These classes count toward both high school graduations requirements and college credit, helping students save time and money while jumpstarting their higher education journey.
Students attend class on Hope College’s campus in Holland, MI, and gain firsthand experience with college-level expectations, pacing, and academic rigor.
