Saugatuck Public Schools

Saugatuck’s robotics team completed its second competition of the season in mid-March.

At the GVSU tournament, the team improved from scoring 22.7 points per match (last competition) to scoring 35.3 points per match this competition. 

The robot never broke down and was the 4th best climbing robot of the entire competition. 

The team placed 17th out of 40 teams in the qualifying matches and completed the finals in the 5th place alliance. For the second time this season, the team earned an award for the “coolest robot” which was given to a team that has a robot that shows creativity and has an original, innovative design.
